Over the last couple of weeks Team Saffron have been working to increase our wedding venue list and we are so pleased to announce that we are now one of the approved caterers at Holme Pierrepont Hall in Nottingham.
Set in 30 acres of beautiful parkland, Holme Pierrepont Hall is an early Tudor Manor House and offers a fantastically traditional wedding setting. With the Long Gallery seating up to 120 and the gardens offering a fantastic array of colourful flowers and shrubs, this venue is most certainly stunning. Also hosting a smaller Medieval style room, this venue is ideal for any occasion. Home to the Brackenbury family, the premises can also hold a marquee so if you prefer the external setting of an outdoor wedding, then look no further!
We have a number of wedding menu ideas which we feel would be apt for this venue, our bespoke range of canapés including Stilton Choux Buns and Smoked Salmon Blinis with a lemon and black pepper crème fraiche, enjoyed with a delicious Kir Royale cocktail in the Courtyard Garden would be the perfect way to start your special day. Your guests would then be welcomed into the Gallery to start with our take on the Classic Prawn Cocktail, served in a Marie Rose sauce and with rustic bread and butter. The main course could be a delightful plate of stuffed shoulder of lamb with apricots & pistachios, rich Madeira jus & apricot chutney, with fondant potato, pan fried courgettes & carrot batons which is a classic dish ideally suiting this traditional wedding venue. Finally the dessert, what better way to end this fantastic meal than with our white chocolate and forest fruit cheesecake!
This venue is stunning, it comes highly recommended by Team Saffron and if you would like us to make an introduction to the venue owners, then pleas just drop us a line.
