This weekend we had the pleasure of offering our event catering and bar services at the Point to Point event in Atherstone. It is our second year at this event, last year the weather did not go in our favour and our staff had to battle through the mud, wind and rain, but this year lady luck smiled on us and the sun made a very welcomed appearance!
Our team made a very early start at 0600, loading up the vans ready to offer delicious Paella and a BBQ too, along with a cash bar for the public sales. It was great to see the grounds already bustling early in the morning, with suppliers setting up fairground rides, game stalls and of course the race competitors all getting ready for the gates opening.
The weather certainly helped attract attendance and around 4,000 people came through the gates which is fantastic! The bar was busy throughout the day, with the public enjoying a cold drink whilst watching the races, and our tasty BBQ and Paella went down a treat throughout the day!
It was a fantastic day, our catering and bar teams really worked together to look after the steady flow of people, and as we packed up at the end of a long day, the team were still smiling, what more could we ask for!
